Test specimen No. 04 is a test yarn produced by applying additional twist to a single-end yarn spun on a traditional Japanese spinning machine, the “Gara spinning machine.” This test yarn was developed to determine whether it would be possible to produce a fine-count, high-twist yarn as a single filament by applying additional twist to the Gara-spun yarn while maintaining its original texture.

    Organic cotton from India (already ginned). This was purchased in January 2026.

  2. Yarn

    Thread Cloth

    We spun organic cotton (already ginned) into yarn.

  3. Finish

    As is (unprocessed)

    It was completed in April 2026 in its natural state, without any special processing.
